He was very warm and welcoming to those who attended. The young people who attended the program were very engaged by the way he talked to them about his book "Okay for Now" as well as other books he had written. They learned about how real life experiences inspire his writing and can influence theirs as well. The students wanted to know why the scene from the cover wasn't in the book. They were very intrigued by the idea that he didn't have control over the cover design. Once again a great pick for an island visitor.
