We will have copies of Chris’ latest book, Big Truck Little Island available for signing, as well as a Chris Van Dusen themed book bag available for purchase!
Chris will also give a short talk on the making of Big Truck Little Island and his life as a children’s book author & illustrator at 11:15 am and again at 12:15pm! Guests are welcome to bring a blanket to sit on for the presentation. This program is rain or shine—in the event of rain, we’ll move to the Union Church.
Chris Van Dusen is a children’s book author & illustrator. Chris dreamt up the premise for his first book while drawing for magazines like Nickelodeon, Family Fun and Disney Adventures. Down to the Sea with Mr. Magee was published in 2000, and he has been writing books ever since! Chris lives in a beautiful little town on the coast of Maine with his wife Lori and a yellow lab named Opal.
