Zine Makerspace

with Kelsey Buckley
August 1710:30 am - 12:00 pm
at the Jesup Memorial Library

Come make a zine in this pop-up Zine Makerspace at the Jesup Memorial Library! We’ll have demos, prompts, and all the art supplies you’ll need to create a zine of your very own.

Wait—what’s a zine?!

A zine (from “magazine”) is a handmade booklet that can be about…anything! Make a personal zine (perzine!) to tell a story from your own life, a fanzine about something you love (a character from a book, your pet, your favorite place), teach us a skill or some new facts…a zine is as unique as you & your interests.

For more about zines and creative ways to use them in classroom or library programming, check out “All About Zines!”
