What can be better than spending time with Friends Over Books? Join IRW’s Lisa Herrington Mondays and Wednesdays for a half-hour, pre-K story time. Each week, Lisa will take children through the different elements that make up a picture book and explore its words and images using the Whole Book Approach, and lead a fun art activity.
While we recommend joining us for the entire six-week program, you may register and drop in at any time! Your Zoom link will be valid for all dates. (each date would be listed with registration option.)
Week Two will highlight a book’s endpapers. The April 26th book is Beautiful Blackbird by Ashley Bryan.
Please have supplies ready for when we meet: paper, black paint (watercolor or tempera) and a bird feather or two.
