About this Workshop
How do we inspire kids to write? How do we convey the lifelong importance of writing, how do we explain the direct connection between STEM and writing… and not bore everyone, including ourselves, to literal tears? How can we infuse writing into all of our subjects? And bring all of our curriculum goals to a single piece of writing? Anna will revolutionize the way we think about writing and storytelling in this active workshop. We’ll work together to bring cross-curricular vibes to writing in a way that doesn’t feel like more work, in a way that feels…fun! We’ll explore ways to use your students interests’ (like video gaming and streaming videos) to make your writing instruction with them so much fun that students will look forward to it!

Anna Crowley Redding is a Maine mom of five, an Emmy award-winning journalist and award-winning author of seven nonfiction books for young readers and teens (with more on the way). Curious about the world, and eager to share what she finds out, Anna’s spent her life on the nosey and chatty side of things… which makes her a passionate storytelling evangelist.
