The Big Read is set for 1.12 – 2.11.2012
The Big Read wants you to join 1,500 of your friends, neighbors, and other community members in reading The Adventures of Tom Sawyer.

The Big Read is a program of the National Endowment for the Arts in partnership with Arts Midwest. The program is designed to revitalize the role of literature in American culture and bring the transformative power of literature into the lives of its citizens. The Big Read brings together partners across the country to encourage citizens to read for pleasure and enlightenment. IRW is the only grantee in Maine and one of five in New England.
