Join IRW & author Minquansis Sapiel at the Henry D. Moore Library in Steuben, ME, for a day of storytelling, learning, and creating!

Minquan, a Passamaquoddy native, will share her lived experience and cultural perspectives with us through storytelling, music, and art. This is a great opportunity for homeschooling families to access firsthand Wabanaki studies. Participants will receive a copy of Minquan’s book, Little People of the Dawn, which will be delivered ahead of the program.

This is a half-day program, from 9:00am–12:00pm.

Recommended ages: 5-10. 

We ask that you have your child:

• Read the book prior to the program.

• Bring questions (on sticky notes).

• Pack a snack.

• Have an adult remain with them.
