Nichols “Nick” Clark, founding director of the Ashley Bryan Center, and retired Founding Director and Chief Curator of The Eric Carle Museum of Picture Book Art.
In 2022, IRW is joining schools, museums, and galleries in the celebration of Ashley Bryan— acclaimed author, painter, printmaker, illustrator, puppet maker and storyteller—who was the recent recipient of the 2022 Maine in America Award, given by the Farnsworth Art Museum.
As Founding Director of the Ashley Bryan Center (ABC), Nick Clark champions ABC’s mission of preserving, celebrating, and sharing Ashley Bryan’s work and his joy of discovery, invention, learning and community.
